Because we are a Retirement Community and a Nursing Home in Northwest Iowa. We prefer to use the term "Long Term Care" over "Nursing Home" but we find if we don't use the term "Nursing Home", our website gets page 469 in web search's such as Google. Iowa is a great place and our Nursing Home is really really nice, and it would be a shame if your search on the internet didn't allow you the opportunity to view our content, simply because we prefer the term "Long Term Care" over the term "Nursing Home", or because we have one Nursing Facility in Iowa, while some websites want to sell you information on every Nursing Home in the state of Iowa.
I can't say that typing a paragraph sole so my page might show up in Google, is an extremely profitable way to spend my day, but it is important that a web search reveals more than sites offer to provide information from other web searches. To put it plainly, if your website gets a higher rating than my website when using terms such as "Nursing Homes in Iowa", and you aren't a Nursing Home in Iowa, then your webpage is wrong not mine. I am a Nursing Home in Iowa and my page should show up before some Lawyers page looking to create a law suite and drive up the price of Long Term Care, or yet another site trying to make a buck selling information about Long Term Care Facilities which is freely available on the web if people could just get to it. So to that end I say "Iowa Nursing Home and Long Term Care" or even "Iowa Long Term Care" and Nursing Home Facility. Either way you get the picture. Whether we are a Nursing Home, Nursing Facility or just a Long Term Care facility, tactics such as these shouldn't be a requirement to get listed in the search. In fact, at 10 results per page, how many pages should even be possible when the terms are "Iowa Nursing Homes". Well, if there were 800 nursing homes in Iowa, that would be 40 pages. Not 67,770............
Well now it's starting to look more like a blog than a Nursing Home, Assisted Living and Long Term Care website, so I think I will retire.
